The roads in Virginia suck lately. Since the huge President’s Day snowstorm, as it’s being called, the roads have simply deteriorated and begun to fall apart. It seems that, when there is a dire emergency, the roads crews fix things, but, for the most part, notsomuch.
For one, Glebe road looks like a Cambodian mine field. Every forty feet there is a pothole large enough to fit a small elephant. Running over one means the CD skips for certain and your ass is treated to a harsh smash into the seat. Glebe isn’t the only site that appears to be post D-Day. The King St exit on 395 looks like swiss cheese. My tires cry after exiting the highway.
VDOT – please – get your act together!
