I have to say, I buy into “reading.” Reading is what intelligent people do – it’s a sign of intellect, and those who read tend to be captivating and interesting. But lately, movies have been doing it for me, not books. I can’t get myself to read a friggin book.
I’ve seen a lot of good movies. Some old Hithcock films, and very recently, “The Tao of Steve,” which I liked. I watched “The Minus Man,” in which some comedians put a fairly freaky story together. I really want to buy Bottle Rocket on DVD — in fact, could one of you please buy it and give it to me?
It’s sad to say, but it’s getting to be truer by the day. Who would’ve ever though that movies are the books of the 21st century?
